Imago conference

Imago (the European Federation of Cinematographers) is calling a Conference of all film craft representatives in Brussels on March 21st/22nd

To meet the challenges of deteriorating working conditions, Imago (the European Federation of Cinematographers) is calling a conference of all film craft representatives in Brussels on March 21st/22nd. This event is especially designed to inform legislators and decision makers of the predicament of the growing numbers of unregulated self-employed film workers.

“Towards a Better Tomorrow”, has been called to unite Directors, Cinematographers and other film professionals in their struggle to achieve acceptable working conditions. Future generations of creative people deserve to live in dignity, commensurate with the opportunities afforded by the digital revolution.

This conference, one of hope, is expected to invite the EU to enforce and improve existing regulations. Imago believes that unity in our common cause through communication is the key to achieve a more efficient, contented workforce. Creative people are well placed to give effective voice and propose imaginative solutions to make a better tomorrow for all of us.
